Nepal
Nepal is an independent country in Asia, located between India to the east, south, and west by the Tibet Region of the north. Its iconic mountains identify Nepal, but a huge part of it is geographically low lying and sub-tropical. This distinction allows tourists to explore the ‘terai’ region in the winter months, when the mountain ranges are too cold to venture into (KAUR, 2018). It has a complex system of mountain ranges, some 50 miles in width and has an elevation between 8,000 to 14,000 feet, which lies between the Mahabharata Range and the Great Himalayas. The ridges of the Mahabharata Range present a steep escarpment toward the south and a relatively gentle slope toward the north.
